Growth, Life, Rebirth.

This figurative sculpture aims to encapsulate a stage in the growth process of bulbs and other natural forms. As one of 4 sculptures this work illustrated the transient nature of the living form in my HSC major work. The transperancy and use of copper wire and gauze allowed for corrosion, all of these materal practices were intended to break the barriers between the artform and its environment, allowing for a meaningful installation which outlined the constant source of life which water provides, its very presence adapting the visual experience of the work.
